Patent Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1、Responsible for all patent affairs of Midea German Research Center andcoordinating with Midea product divisions in China according to instruction fromMidea Group Intellectual Property Center.

2、Responsible for German/European patent prosecution and portfoliomanagement, including searching prior art, drafting, reviewing and revising patentapplication documents and O.A. response documents, and instructing outsidecounsel, e.g.. law firms or patent agencies. to complete relevant work.

3、Responsible for assisting in German/European patent risk prevention, patentinvalidation, patent licensing, patent analysis, FTO,and etc..

4、Responsible for formulation and optimization of German/European patent-related processes.standards.and systems

5.Responsible for other German/European patent related work.

YOUR PROFILE

1、Master's degree or higher in science and engineering relating to Midea'sbusiness, (excellent candidates with bachelor's degree could also be considered)education background in German/European law school or engineering school ispreferred
More than five years of German/European patent practice experience, familiarwith key issues and processes of German/European patents; German/Europeanpatent bar/qualification is preferred; German/European local patent workingexperlence is preferred:

2、Independently finished drafting more than 30 German/European patentapplications, and independently finished responding to more than 50German/European patent O.A.; experience relating to German/European patentrisk prevention, patent invalidation, patent licensing, patent analysis, and FTO ispreferred;

3、Chinese and German/English as working languages4.Proactively, self-motivated, good teamwork spirit
